The De'Longhi Pinguino PAC EM82K.1 is a portable air conditioner that gives you three modes of operation: air conditioning, dehumidification, and ventilation. It is Class A energy-rated and features 9,400 BTU (2.4 kW) cooling capacity; we recommend its use in domestic spaces such as bedrooms, home offices and other living spaces up to 80 m³ (approximately 30 square metres).
Unlike split systems, you can set the Pinguino up right out of the box. It uses an eco-friendly R290 refrigerant gas, along with De'Longhi’s sophisticated condensate recycling system. This system works by recycling moisture to cool the condenser down, reducing the number of times the tank needs to be emptied.

Thermostat & Fan Sync: A sensor tracks the temperature inside and automatically slows the fan down to prevent the room from becoming too cold, which also lowers electrical consumption.
43L/Day Moisture Extraction: The dehumidifier moves up to 330 m³ of air per hour and extracts up to 43 litres of moisture per day. During the summer, removing high-humidity will make sticky spaces feel much more comfortable. In the winter, it helps to protect against damp and mould.
Condensate Recycling Technology: This function captures water vapor to cool the condenser down, facilitating the reduction of manual tank emptying.
Portable Window Design: An exhaust hose and window sealing kit removes the need for permanent installation to give you a unit that is ready to use right out of the box. Its castors and handles have been designed for easy moving between rooms.
Timer & Remote: Schedule the unit to come on via the remote at any time of day, ideal for pre-cooling rooms prior to your arrival.
Sizing Note
While rated for up to 80 m³, hot rooms that are south facing or feature lots of glass may require more cooling capacity. In this situation, we recommend sizing up your air conditioning unit to address the increased demand.
