Direct Space Heaters
Direct space heaters are powerful, high performance heaters. They are designed for maximum BTU output, and provide heat to large areas where central heating is impractical.
Direct space heaters focus heat where it’s needed, which makes them a cost effective alternative to heating entire facilities.

Powerful Heating for Large Spaces
Direct fired space heaters are not like your average HVAC systems. These heaters are designed for raw power and pack a thermal punch. Our specialist range is best suited for:
Construction & Site Work: Accelerate drying times on site.
Logistics & Warehouses: Use zone control to spot heat in busy areas.
Agriculture: Provide heat to livestock in well ventilated barns.
Emergency Heating: For flood recovery use alongside a dehumidifier.
Calculate the output by considering the temperature difference between the outdoor air and the air desired indoors. A higher BTU-to-square-foot ratio is recommended in uninsulated areas.
How Direct Space Heating Works
It’s a simple but powerful process. A fan pulls air in from the rear of the unit, the air is then forced through a combustion chamber, mixed with fuel and ignited. The heated air is then propelled back out.
As a safety note, it is important to remember that direct fired heaters must only be used when there is a continuous supply of fresh air.
Why Choose Us?
We have years of experience in climate control and vet every unit for compliance with British and European safety standards. Contact our technical team via phone or live chat for further questions on thermal dynamics.
Customer FAQs
Q: How do I ensure safe operation?
A: All units meet strict safety standards. However, you should follow the “1-2-3 rule” when in use. 1 metre clear of combustibles, 2 sources of ventilation, and 3 point stability on the ground.
Q: Can I use these heaters in an office?
A: No. We recommend either an Indirect Space Heater or an Electric Fan Heater for heating indoors.
Q: What is the difference between Direct and Indirect heaters?
A: Fumes are exhausted back into the room from a direct heater. An indirect heater uses a flue to vent fumes outside.
