What Is A Direct Space Heater?
A direct space heater is a portable unit designed for heating one specific room or area as opposed to an entire building. Each model is different, with some requiring electricity as a means of power and others relying on popane or natural gases.
As a result, direct space heaters are often reserved for large one-room spaces or environments that are well-ventilated such as barns, hangars or large factories and warehouses.
Fast, Easy Direct Heat
Direct space heaters warm areas quickly. This is especially true for fan-forced units, as heat is blown out as it is generated by the device. As space heaters are also used to heat one room, energy is not wasted in heating areas that don't require it - saving cost and energy.
Direct space heaters are also portable, meaning they can be relocated easily and stored away when not in use. Additionally, they can also be used for supplementing heat, adding warmth to areas that may be unaffected by central heating.
